ryan brown with the alley-oop. always good for one a game. the slam. miami up by 30. late in the second, duke going for the dunk. miami takes it back to the other end where they have trey mckinney knocking down the three for a 79-50 hurricane lead. miami blows out top ranked duke and, of course, the obligatory rushing of the court. 93-63 is the final. the only unbeaten in the ncaa. >>> on to the nba, the new orleans hornets, they plan to announce the name change to the new orleans pelicans later today. we've been pretty excited about this new mascot for a while here at "way too early." so to commemorate the occasion, we've had our graphics team whip up a prototype of what we believe the logo could look like. the name change will be effective starting next season. when i think of new orleans, i think of fried oysters before i think of pelicans. but i guess they're going to run with it. also programming note for you, two-time super bowl winning quarterback john elway will join us later on "morning joe" to talk a little bit about football and th super bowl. >>> coming up
